Courses in the History of Music
Since 1992 the Centre has organized courses in the history of music, run by nationally renowned teachers.
These courses consist of about ten lessons, each lasting about two hours in the morning during school hours for final-year students of Empoli high-schools, and in the afternoon for teachers of every type and level of school and for people enrolled in the Università dell’Età Libera (Open University for all Ages) as well as all interested citizens. The courses use an interdisciplinary approach and each year has received an enthusiastic response.
Since 1993-94 these courses have been recognised by the Florentine Superintendency of Studies as general knowledge courses.
